Wingate by Wyndham New Braunfels

Amazing family and amazing staff, super clean and super tidy, a well oiled ship. So thankful I chose this hotel because the service and care was spectacular Love love love. Definitely take a trip to new braunfels and stay here! Seriously wonderful people

Honestly really not a bad hotel. The building is just really, really old so it doesn't look the best. Everything was clean though. It was quiet. I thought this breakfast was great. There were waffle makers, bagels and bread with a toaster, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and on the weekends biscuits and gravy. Butter, cream cheese, peanut butter and jelly were available too. The only thing I didn't like about the room was there was no ceiling light above the main part of the room, only lamps, so it's pretty dark in there if you don't want to open the curtains. There was also no ceiling fan but a fan was provided so that was fine. The bed was comfortable to us. There was shampoo and soap in the shower but only a tiny bar on the sink for hand washing. Great location. The pool and hot tub was nice too.

We stayed there for 2 days. Staff was friendly the riom was spacious but the bathroom needed a better cleaning. The day we checked out a man was waiting to clean the room before we could even finish getting our stuff out! That was disappoint it felt like we were being rushed.

Clean, comfortable, reliable place to stay. Friendly staff, good breakfast! There is a bit of traffic noise being somewhat of a busy area, but not loud enough to prevent getting to sleep for us. Good location. Was nice to have an indoor hotub open until 10pm !

The location of this hotel is very convenient, with Buc-ee’s, H-E-B, and McDonald’s all close by. Check-in was smooth and quick. The room was clean and spacious, with basic amenities including a coffee machine, microwave, mini refrigerator, clean towels, and toiletries. The indoor pool was clean and well-maintained, and pool towels were provided. A nice bonus was the warm whirlpool, which was also clean and relaxing. Breakfast options were basic but filling. They included scrambled eggs, sausage, tater tots, make-your-own waffles, apples, bananas, instant oats, yogurt, coffee, machine juices, and bagels/bread with peanut butter, jelly, and cream cheese. The staff member working the breakfast area was very kind and attentive, keeping the food stocked even though many families came down a bit late due to it being New Year’s Day. There was enough food for everyone. Checkout was smooth and easy. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin, so some noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable. Since we stayed on December 31st, it was understandably noisier. The hotel does observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM, so this may not be an issue on regular nights. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay with a great location and friendly service.

Location is great! Staff was friendly. Room was good. Only thing is they have the most uncomfortable pillows. We woke up with neck pain. Also the cleanliness of the room was not the best. Shower was dirty, the border on the mirror was very dirty. The bathroom sink did not drain fast at all. Breakfast was good. Quietness of the hotel was good.

I have no complaints regarding my stay. The accommodations were notably clean and spacious, as was the hotel in general. The staff were friendly, and the hotel's location is excellent, offering easy access to numerous nearby dining establishments.

Everything was great. Outside grounds could use some landscaping, especially the back parking lot-lots of overgrown weeds, grass. Staff was fantastic, room was modern and very clean. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.
